Nappuccino is made by accbox. In short: we don't collect any of your data. Nappuccino has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Everything stays on your Apple Watch and iPhone.
Data the app uses
- Heart rate (from Apple Health) on your Apple Watch during a nap, to detect when you fall asleep and when you are in light sleep.
- Wrist motion (from the Watch's motion sensors) during a nap, to detect when you are still.
- Sleep and heart-rate data (from Apple Health) on your iPhone, to show your nap history.
Nappuccino only reads this data while you use it, and only to provide its features.
Data the app stores
- Nap history and settings are stored locally on your Apple Watch and iPhone. They are synced directly between your own devices using Apple's Watch Connectivity.
- Apple Health: if you allow it, each nap is saved to Health as sleep. You can review or delete these entries in the Health app at any time.
What we don't do
- We don't send your data to any server. Nappuccino doesn't connect to the internet.
- We don't use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking SDKs.
- We never sell, share or use Health data for advertising or any purpose other than the app's features.
Sharing
Nappuccino can create a picture of a nap for you to share. It is only shared when you choose to, through the standard iOS share sheet, with the people or apps you pick.
Notifications
Nappuccino uses local notifications on your Apple Watch as a backup wake-up alarm. They are created on the device and never pass through our servers.
Your choices
- You can grant or revoke Health and Motion access at any time in the Settings and Health apps.
- Deleting the app removes your nap history from the device. Entries saved to Apple Health stay there until you delete them in the Health app.
Children
Nappuccino isn't directed at children under 13 and doesn't knowingly collect any data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
